I was born in Fort Worth, Texas to a career Air Force family with tours of duty in Belgium, France and Dover, Delaware.I attended the University of Delaware and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics in 1974.

My first employment was as a management analyst for the Family Court of the State of Delaware. This was followed by construction project management for the Bank of Delaware/PNC Bank.Finally, I was as Executive Director of the Community Service Building in Wilmington, Delaware, the country’s largest multi-tenant non-profit center.

After retirement in 2017 my activities have included membership in the Rotary Club of Wilmington, treasurer of the board of Opera Delaware, gardener at the Goodstay Gardens and volunteer for the installation of new HVAC in the George Read II House in New Castle.
